I finally turned 22 and I am happy because well, I am. I don’t have a problem with aging as long as I am achieving goals and aging as well. If I was aging with nothing to show, I would have a problem.
I created a birthday play list that I am currently loving. I threw in some Swahili songs. If you have always wanted to learn Swahili, you can start there. Swahili is beautiful, poetic and romantic. In short, learn it.
I also came up with 22 lessons I have learnt in 22 years and you can read about that here..
This year I am not doing anything major but I am proud to announce that I have a new job doing something I love; Creating Content. I might surprise myself by doing something grand that will last years. We’ll see.
I been writing on Medium, though I think they should accommodate everyone. Read my thoughts on this here.
I am yet to graduate yet. I finished school in March and I am praying to be slotted in the next graduation date, that being December. Hopefully my school will have gotten their act together.
21 has been a good year, I feel like I have accelerated. Like an arrow. My parents are proud. When you start writing no one believes in you until it pays your bills and you are no longer depending on them.
Cheers to 21, you have been good to me.
