Enjoying Laughter, Making Healthy Jokes and Comedies You Should Watch

When I start laughing, I get into uncontrollable spasms of laughter especially when it’s really funny. Do you ever have one of those laughs with your friends and family where all of you are balling out of control with laughter? You try to say something even funnier but you can’t because you are chocking but either way they understand so more laughter?

When making jokes it’s important to;

Be sure that the other person get’s your sense of humour and if they don’t start off slowly.

If you are going to be sarcastic, be sure that the next person understands and appreciates sarcasm.

Not make fun of people’s acne, abnormalities, or things they don’t have control of. Doing this might come off as hurtful or cruel because you are making wisecracks of something they are already sensitive about.

When is a Joke a Hit or Miss?

My Family and my close circle of friends get my sense of humour, although at times the joke is a miss because I get too sensitive or they get too sensitive. Most of the time the joke is a hit.Especially because sarcasm is my fourth language :).

Hilarious Topics That Make me Laugh.

Sibling memories, laughing at my brother’s and sister’s dumbness when they were younger.

Sarcastic remarks by my parents directed towards my siblings. My mom’s a heavyweight with come backs and my siblings and I take turns to laugh at each other.

Comedies. I love comedies, comedians, Instagram comedians like GotDamnZo , PatDlucky, Blessed Njugush and BSimone make me laugh plus memes. Comic relief is underrated.

If you are having a bad day and want to laugh;

Visit GotDamnZo’s Instagram page for humour. Watch Blessed Njugush on Instagram if you understand Swahili.

Watch Dave Chapelle’s comedy specials on Netflix. I watched them a lot last year. There was a period I repeated his specials over and over just because I needed a great laugh!

Watch other comedy specials on Netflix like Kat Williams and Trevor Noah’s Netflix specials. Or watch Ellen on Youtube.

Try other ways that make you laugh.

    “Comic relief is underrated.” it so is! I turn everything into laughter, it’s my coping mechanism. I don’t know if you’ve read Harry Potter and will get this reference, but I treat my fears as a Boggart which will go away if you make fun of it and laugh at it.

      I have not read Harry Porter but always meant to. Maybe I should add it to my reading list. I know it’s about wizards or something.

    My dad and I have the same sense of humor. Just this weekend we started cracking up uncontrollably, twice, over the most ridiculous things. I always enjoy laughing with him!

    Good tips! I love Chapelle and Noah, too. I’ll have to check out your other suggestions.
