My dear, what a wonderful collection. Are these recorded somewhere or part of your research? Or were they passed to you as an oral tradition? May I have your permission to write some poetry using them, if I promise to share the poetry with you?

Thank you. Yes, some are of oral tradition, while others cuts across East, Central and West Africa. Basically proverbs are used during communication in Africa, on a daily basis and yes you are free to use and share with me, that would be awesome.
