50 Productive Things To Do While Social Distancing

It’s been less than two months since we started social distancing but it feels like 5 years. We’ve finished Netflix, messed up our sleep schedules and circadian rhythms while being a quarter productive.

It’s going to take a while to adjust to this new normal and get the most out of the situation. Here are 50 things one can do at home to stay sane, a tad bit productive and keep it moving.

  1. Organize and sort out your emails
  2. Organize and sort out your closet.
  3. Clean the entire house in phases. Dedicate a day for each room.
  4. Declutter your desk, space or home office.
  5. Take a journal, start journaling every day.
  6. Read books that make you happy and feed your soul. My favourites are Mind Platter by Najwa Zebian and My Utmost For His Highest by Oswald Chambers. I’m also reading the Freelance Content Marketing Writer by Jennifer Gorfoth and I recommend it to anyone who is into copywriting, freelancing and creating written content.
  7. Watch movies that make you happy.
  8. Indulge in a new Netflix series. I’m currently watching The King: Eternal Monarch starring Lee Min Ho.
  9. Dedicate a day to home prep your meals.
  10. Write down your dreams, vision and revisit your bucket list.
  11. Make a list of places you want to visit after COVID-19 is over.
  12.  Have a spa session and treat your face, your nails and your body to some pampering.
  13. Write a book.
  14. Start a blog.
  15. Engage with other content creators on Twitter.
  16. Try out a new recipe on Pinterest.
  17. Start a Youtube channel.
  18. Start writing on Medium.
  19. Learn drawing and doodling.
  20. Attend an online webinar.
  21. SEO your blog, Pinterest page or Youtube.
  22. Do your laundry.
  23. Read 3 books every week.
  24. Learn a new language.
  25. Learn chess.
  26. Watch a documentary or a Ted X Talk.
  27. Take a nap.
