Black History Month, Wakanda.

It’s black history month. I was not going to post anything about it but here we are.

In my previous post I mentioned about African stories by African people. Africans need to tell their own story. It angers me a lot the ludicrous stories about Africa out there, the neocolonialism today, the imperialist organizations and all that’s happening currently. I’m also angered, especially in economics class, when I learn and here of what the story has been and the division of Africa into Anglo or Francophone countries. Divided based on the oppressor.

The murders on black people by trigger happy police and the lack of justice moves to tears. My eyes tear as I write this. I’ve since stopped watching Aljazeera, CNN or BBC because of the sad stories . Was the shooter Muslim? If yes terrorist if not then was he black? If so, he was armed/assaulting/some story. Was the shooter white? If yes he’s mentally ill. I mean I know most black Americans didn’t willingly go to America, but if it happened to white people in my country, the narrative would be different. You should see how the West comes in when Kenyans talk about white land owners and ranchers going back to their country (not that I’m for it) but come on.

When it comes to the West or Western Europe too, don’t be quick to take what they’re saying in Africa and developing countries especially when they speak of Human rights. Human rights are a blanket cover for their interest. Most of the time they cause chaos when their interest are crushed.

I’ve never been one to speak about black oppression. I know at times black people are wrong but these are occurrences one too many.
So today I celebrate Black Panther that also aired in Kenya and in like manner let me share this thread from Twitter.

Britain and Netherlands etc Never apologize on the history of colonizing Africa and robbing Africa.
In 1919 Japan first proposed “racial discrimination” in Paris as a colored race.
Currently, Japan works with African people on the African continent.
But,China and UK and EU etc …withe leader of Africa exploit resource of Africa.
